Prysmian Gold Fire Resistant Alarm Cable is a ‘standard’ fire resistant cable as defined by the fire alarm and emergency lighting Standards and the original alternative to mineral insulated cable. It is a tough, durable and dressable essential systems cable – easy to install and terminate.
FP200 Gold meets the ‘standard’ fire resistant cable requirements of:
BS 5839-1 (Fire Detection and Alarms)
BS 5266-1 (Emergency Lighting)
BS 8519 (Lighting Safety and Fire Fighting) – classified as Category 1 Control cable
FP200 Gold has excellent data and signals transmission characteristics which makes it ideal for voice alarm, addressable and networked systems
Prysmian FP200 Gold Fire Protected Cable 2-Core 1.5mm²
Fire Resistant Alarm Cable this includes approval to BS EN 50200 Class PH30 and the new integrated fire, shock and water test BS8434-1 for 30 minutes. FP200 Gold® is also approved to BS EN 50200 Class PH60 as required by BS5266-1:2005.
