ATB box 4 Port simplex unloaded Specifications And Details

Overview

Description:

Access Terminal Box (ATB) is designed to connect the drop cable with PON ONU (Optical Network Unit) in FTTH application. Access Terminal Box (ATB) is installed on the wall and provides protection for optical fiber splicing or termination.

The Access Terminal Box (ATB) supports fusion splicing, mechanical splicing and field assembly fast connectors. Access Terminal Box (ATB) is compact and cost-effective.

Highlights

The ATB Box, specifically the 4 Port Simplex Unloaded variant, is an essential component in fiber optic network installations, providing a convenient and organized solution for managing and protecting fiber optic connectors. Let’s explore the key features and advantages that make the ATB Box with 4 Port Simplex Unloaded configuration an integral part of modern fiber optic networks.

1. Fiber Optic Cable Management: The primary function of the ATB Box is to facilitate the organized management of fiber optic cables. The 4 Port Simplex Unloaded configuration allows for the termination and organization of up to four individual fiber optic connectors.

2. Versatile Unloaded Design: The unloaded design means that the ATB Box doesn’t come pre-loaded with connectors. This versatility allows network installers to choose and install the specific connectors that suit the requirements of their fiber optic network.

3. Four-Port Configuration: The 4 Port Simplex configuration of the ATB Box provides four individual ports, allowing for the termination of four simplex connectors. This is ideal for scenarios where multiple fiber optic connections need to be managed efficiently in a compact and organized enclosure.

4. Protection and Enclosure: The ATB Box serves as a protective enclosure for fiber optic connectors, shielding them from environmental factors such as dust, debris, and potential physical damage. This protection is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of the fiber optic connections.
